The eight modern urban sculptures that can be found on this route pay tribute to some of the figures and events that have contributed to the history of the city of León over the centuries.

This fascinating sculpture trail takes in some of the city’s landmarks, based on a number of works that will immediately catch the visitor’s eye and tell the history of each site. Indeed, most of these 20th century sculptures are related to the Pilgrims’ Route to Santiago.

This route includes the following sites of interest: the Monument to the City’s Two Thousand Year History, the sculpture paying tribute to the cathedral builders, the column commemorating the Legio VII in León, the Cabezadas Festival, Las Tres Infantas sculpture, the former City Hall, the Statue of Guzmán the Good and the Statue of the Pilgrim.
