An image, an object, a list, a radio, a rope can be understood as the complement of a future form. But also as the elements from which an artistic language is made. The implementation of this language is what allows a work of art to exist in the world. The uniqueness of art lies in its capacity to multiply experiences. The eye allows us to discover the distance between our body and that which we wish to touch. "The eye caresses the rock before walking touches it," as Michel Serres reports. The selection of works and invited artists reviews the links and relationships that contemporary art establishes with pre-existing forms to form a vocabulary of creation. It is proposed as a way of approaching the constants devised by a series of artists whose works comprise the MUSAC Collection.
