From Médulas to Lago Somido

This path runs through part of sector III of the mine, the last to be exploited before its abandonment (end of the 2nd century / beginning of the 3rd century AD). Through it you can admire the mining cuts and the characteristic peaks - witness to the extraction work carried out in the mountain. The different variants of its route allow us to learn about the geology of the gold deposit, the operation of the mine and the gold exploitation processes.
