Leon Wine Route is a cross-cutting tourism project that involves various sectors in a comprehensive socio-economic development strategy for the south of the province
Geographically, it is located on the territory defined in the regulations of the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Leon , which occupies an area of 3,317 square kilometers in the south and southeast of Leon and north of Valladolid.
Open to all sectors and actors directly or indirectly involved in the wine tourism development of the territory , Leon Wine Route currently integrates around fifty members, including the three local action groups that have been operating with great activity in the province —Poeda, Adescas and Montañas del Teleno, large municipalities, a consortium of municipalities, municipal tourism offices, hospitality establishments, both restaurants and accommodation, wineries, other agro-industrial producers, service companies, tour operators, etc.
