The hill fort is located at an altitude of 1,441 meters on the northern foothills of the Montes Aquilianos. It is a typical hill fort settlement defended by a wall that protects its entire perimeter. The collapses of this artificial defense are clearly visible along a stretch of at least 200 meters.

When the defensive structure was standing, it would have been impressive in its dimensions, measuring approximately three and a half meters wide and, judging by the volume of the stone piles, we assume it reached three meters in height. The defensive system was completed with a ditch carved into the rock and a tower within the hillfort. Of this tower, built on the highest point of the hillfort, we can see the stone piles from its collapse, covering an area 20 meters in diameter.
