The church is topped off by a sturdy stone tower. It was made of stone blocks according to the typical Neo-Gothic standards of the 16th-18th centuries.

It contains artistic furniture. The altarpiece in the main chapel is worth a visit, as well as the Capilla de Jerónimo Aguilar. It has a tribune with an 18th-century organ.
