This tourist space wants to be a brand of geonatural connection of the region. The theme of the exhibition material is diverse: Ethnography, the quarry, the resin, mycology, fossils, ancient trades...

The featured content is dedicated to marble. Espejón has been a benchmark in the use of this limestone and has three quarries. Throughout history, this material has been extracted in different varieties and has been installed in buildings as important as the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Monastery of El Escorial or the Cathedral of Burgo de Osma, among others. The quarries are not currently in use, they closed in 2007, although marble has been extracted sporadically again in minimal quantities.

This center also serves as a temporary exhibition space for local artists and guided tours of the quarries can be arranged.
