The Magaña castle is considered one of the most important 15th century stately castles in the province of Soria. The best view to appreciate the attractive and suggestive silhouette of the castle is on the road that goes up towards Fuentes de Magaña or from the highest points of the town.

It is built in masonry and is made up of a double room around the keep (of Berber origin, IX-XI centuries). The very high interior is square in plan with the keep in one corner and cubes in the other two. The exterior, much lower and with an irregular floor plan, has seven cubes distributed around the perimeter of the fence.
