The Ponce de León Museum is located in the town of Santervás de Campos (Valladolid), nestled in the fertile Tierra de Campos region. It has 600 m2 of surface perfectly distributed in a building of century XVII, in front of which a statue has been erected to Juan Ponce de Leon.

The history of this building is very unique, it is an old convent, which belonged to a Benedictine priory, and underneath it was a tunnel leading to the church of San Gervasio and San Protasio, a title that responds to two martyrs of Nero.

This is a monographic museum dedicated to the figure of Juan Ponce de León, a distinguished Spanish sailor who, in the service of the Crown, took part in the discovery of America.
