Near the caves of Soria, next to the Izana River, a modern structure houses the Magna Mater Museum and protects the archaeological site of the Roman villa La Dehesa. Inside, a walkway offers a privileged, elevated view of the remains of the spacious mid-4th century AD villa, which covers almost 4,000 square meters.

The structure of the Late Roman villa is simple: it has a rectangular floor plan organized around a large central garden with more than thirty rooms of varying sizes surrounding it, some with semicircular apses. Most of the villa's rooms retain their luxuriously paved floors with geometric mosaics made from pieces of various colors, demonstrating the splendor with which the building was constructed.

It is not common to know the name of the owner of a Roman villa, however, in the Roman villa La Dehesa there appears a monogram that is systematically repeated in its mosaics and that has been interpreted as the symbol of the owning family: the "Irrico".
