In the municipality of Valdeprados we find this beautiful, slender and well-preserved tower, the called fortified tower of the Counts of Puñonrrostro.

It was the fourth lord with this surname, Don Juan Arias Davila, who was the first to be named Earl for his loyalty to King Charles I, in gratitude for his participation in the Revolt of the Comuneros. His family would control the ‘County Puñonrrostro’ and this tower dating from the XV century, restored and in good state of conservation, privately owned.

On the outside you can visit a Museum of Sculpture. A tower, a place that takes us back to the XV century and feel their way of life.
