If we think of a well-preserved watchtower, we must remember the one at Quintanilla de Tres Barrios, that Madoz defined as ‘observation tower’, located on the northern slope of a hill on whose top we found this building, well situated, watchful, which joined the other at the distance allowing to watch from each one the rest, and thus watch the whole environment.

It is a cylindrical tower; in this case about ten meters high and thick walls. It was built with ashlar limestone. The access is on the first floor, with a semicircular arch. It is a hollow watchtower and well preserved, allowing us to better understand its original state and purpose. It is a sister in the area, a companion of the rest. This defensive place served for its purposes.
