The Castilian and Leonese Institute of Language presents at its headquarters, the Palacio de la Isla in Burgos, the exhibition Classics of Literature in Playmobil , an original proposal that brings to the public some of the most representative titles of Spanish literature through dioramas made with Playmobil figures.

The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Cultural Association of Castilla y León and Friends of Colombia (ACYCOL), is part of the Institute's commitment to promoting the Community's literary heritage, opting for approaches that combine rigor, creativity and evocative power.

Through a familiar and easily recognizable visual language, the exhibition recreates scenes and characters from seminal works, offering an accessible and thought-provoking interpretation of the great texts of our literary tradition. This approach fosters dialogue between the literary legacy and new audiences, broadening access to literature.

The tour includes essential references such as Cantar de Mio Cid ; La vida de Lazarillo de Tormes y de sus fortunas y adversidades ; La Celestina , by Fernando de Rojas; Las moradas o el castillo interior , by Saint Teresa of Ávila; Don Juan Tenorio , by José Zorrilla; La casa de Bernarda Alba , by Federico García Lorca; El príncipe destronado , by Miguel Delibes; and Don Quijote de la Mancha , by Miguel de Cervantes.

The exhibition also incorporates scenes linked to significant moments in literary history, such as the burial of Mariano José de Larra or the recreation of the famous painting The Contemporary Poets by Antonio María Esquivel.
