José Antonio Guinea , a self-taught visual artist, has developed his own unique style centered on exploring emotional expression and visual language as a means of profound communication. His work is characterized by an introspective gaze, where the image conveys what cannot always be expressed in words, placing special emphasis on the gaze as a channel for expressing feelings and emotions.

His work mainly encompasses oil painting, acrylic and mixed media on various supports, although he also uses other techniques such as watercolor and pointillism and even other artistic branches such as photography.

This exhibition consists of 25 works , in vertical format, approximately 80 x 110 cm. Alongside them is a series of 11 poems by the artist that evoke the feelings they provoke in him when creating the work.

The opening is on Thursday, October 1st at 7:30 p.m. in the library's third-floor gallery. The artist will lead a guided tour and read some of his poems.
