A fantasy romance directed by Richard Donner in 1985 and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Broderick, and Rutger Hauer

The Middle Ages. A supernatural legend tells of the diabolical revenge of the Bishop of Aquila, who makes the love between Navarre (Rutger Hauer) and Isabeau of Anjou (Michelle Pfeiffer) impossible. Allied with the forces of evil, the Bishop manages to bewitch the lovers: she will become a falcon by day, and he a wolf by night. Eternally bound yet separated, they find an ally in the young servant Philippe Gaston (Matthew Broderick), who will try to help them break the Bishop's curse.
