Mining portraits. The thousand faces of Santa Bárbara (II)

Photographer Rubén Mediavilla, on the occasion of the Santa Bárbara festival, portrays some of the miners who worked for years in the Sabero Mining Basin.

The mine sounds

Exhibition dedicated to the different sounds that the miner heard in his work, both outside and inside the mine.

MSM Art Gallery

This exhibition showcases the collection of mining paintings that the museum has gathered over the past eighteen years, originating from the works awarded in the different editions of the National Quick Painting Competition "Mining Lands of Castilla y León", as well as from donations.

MSM OUT - Jesús Juárez & Mauricio Peña

The exhibition 'JESÚS JUÁREZ & MAURICIO PEÑA. Graphic memory of mining in Castilla y León', which brings together the work of these two photographers on mining, designed and produced by the museum, can be seen in the exhibition hall of the Leonese Institute of Culture in the Monastery of Sandoval (Villaverde de Sandoval- Leon).

MSM OUT - Mining Philately

The 'Mining Philately' exhibition, which includes the collection of mining-themed stamps by Salvador González Solís, designed and produced by the museum, is on display at the 'Río Tinto Mining Park' (Huelva).

Treasures from the Historical Mining Archive of Castilla y León

Each month, the museum unveils a unique document, plan, photograph, or object from its archive, which treasures the mining history of Castilla y León.
