Friday, April 24. Helena Cuesta (Valladolid)Helena Cuesta (Valladolid) I love to travel, and I'm not quite sure if the stories travel with me or if I travel with them. Either way, I've always found it very easy to close my eyes and appear on the other side of the planet. I've told stories in libraries, storytelling festivals, bars, museums, prisons, and even convents. I've also collected traditional tales, stories, and legends. And I've found that stories explain us and unite us. They are an essential part of being human.
- 5:30 p.m., for family audiences aged 4 and up
"Dragon Tales from Around the World and Where to Find Them"
We'll travel the world to meet sea dragons, flying dragons, stinky dragons, and wondrous dragons. Fantastic and extraordinary creatures, all of them.
Dare to travel with me to discover them together? Everyone has their own customs, and it's best not to trust appearances too much.
- 7:00 p.m., for young people aged 16 and over and adults
"People of the water"
Some say that water is alive, that it feels, that it desires, that it suffers. Some say that other beings live beneath the water, somewhat like us, but different.
