Camuñas is a ragged, unkempt, dirty, and disheveled monster who lives in an old shack in the woods. He has long fingernails, makes potions and casts spells, and hates girls and boys. One full moon night, Camuñas leaves his house, crosses the forest, and arrives at the home of Blanca, a girl who isn't afraid of monsters and decides to confront him and make fun of him and his unkempt appearance. Will Blanca manage to get rid of the monster? A story about bravery and courage that teaches children to face their fears. A puppet show with fun characters where music and humor also play a key role in this story based on folk tales. A production by the Salamanca-based company Katua&Galea Teatro, which stages the story of the same name, "Camuñas," by author Margarita del Mazo and published by OQO, based in turn on traditional oral tales that refer to the bogeyman, the boogeyman, or Uncle Camuñas.

Genre: Theatre. Style: Puppetry. Duration: 55 min.

Show included in the programming of the Network of Theatres of Castilla y León.
