Ruy, Ruy Díaz, Rodrigo, El Cid, Sidi, El Campeador, el de Vivar, Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, the one with a thousand names, the one with a thousand faces, the one with the most sculptures in the world, since much has been said and will continue to be said about the Cid; whether he was a hero, a mercenary, whether he loved his king, whether he hated him, whether he attended to women in labor, and it has even been said of him that he was a delight, a miraculous being, almost a saint. The fact is that each one imagines the Cid in a different way.

Those who can best tell us his story are the Vivares: that band of men who followed him into exile; ragged, crippled, souls in distress, human remains. In short, a retinue of unknown warriors; the nameless. This is the song of the roads, a song that has come from mouth to ear to our times. A song that is not written, a universal song that speaks of brave men and idealized women. A song that reaches us through the children, the children, the children of the dead.

This is the story of El Cid told through his brothers, who from birth until death were inseparable from their Lord, through the interpretation of Antonio Campos, accompanied by the music of La Musgaña.
