Petite and Susane arrive at an old circus, discovering a ring eager to recapture the magic of the circus. In a hurry and without any particular skills, they decide to start the show and become performers. Their expectations rise as they rediscover the essence of the old circus: the smell of popcorn, the challenge of performing the most difficult stunts, a flirtatious trapeze artist, an Auguste and a Whiteface clown, an empty ring, and everything yet to be done. The artists of Circo Alas are determined to put on the best show of their lives! But their own missteps will teach them that no dreamer is too small, and no dream too big.
