In the Akan language the word SUM means SHADOW.

SUM is about that. About shadows. But what is shadow?

According to the RAE: Dark image that projects an opaque body onto any surface, intercepting direct rays of light.

This show delves into it, into the shadow, our shadow, in the broadest sense of the word. It speaks of that dark silhouette that constitutes a projection of ourselves, of our fears, our desires, our discoveries. It grows with us, it always accompanies us, it contains everything that is part of our identity.
