On Friday, October 30th, at 7 p.m., a lecture by Fernando Simón Yarza.

Fernando Simón Yarza is Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Navarra. In 2011, his doctoral dissertation, *Environment and Fundamental Rights *, was awarded the Francisco Tomás y Valiente Prize. He has conducted extensive research in Constitutional Law and Philosophy of Law, focusing on fundamental rights, political institutions, and legal foundations. His work has been published in some of the leading journals and publishing houses in the field. He has lectured and led seminars in various countries and has been a visiting researcher at the Universities of Münster, Boston, Princeton, and Oxford. Since 2015, he has been a member of the James Madison Society at Princeton. He has translated several books by the German philosopher Robert Spaemann, including *Rousseau: Citizen Without a Country* (CEPC, 2013).
