This long-distance trail has been designed on historic paths. Starting from Medina de Pomar, the path heads towards the banks of the Nela and, after the town of Miñón, it crosses the Trueba river in Santurde. From there it heads and crosses different towns passing through the Sierra Pelada, towards Návagos.

Afterwards the trail continues towards Paresotas and Perex de Losa, finally arriving at Gobantes. The last section back to Medina passes through Quintanamacé, Rosales and San Martín de Mancobo, returning to the starting point through the San Esteban neighborhood. The route has a large number of points of interest.
