The Dorinda Mine is located in the town of Carbajosa, in the province of Zamora, within the Arribes del Duero Natural Park.

The Dorinda Mine was a tin mine, specifically for cassiterite, the mineral from which tin is extracted. It was characterized by having two working levels: an upper level and a lower level (known as "Las Rapaces"). Tin extraction continued until March 1977, when operations ceased permanently.

The Dorinda mine is located on the right bank of the Duero River, opposite the town of Villadepera and near Peña Blanca, a significant geological feature in the area. It can be reached via river routes or trails within the natural park, but direct access by land is often difficult due to the rugged terrain of the Arribes del Duero, a protected natural landscape of great ecological and geological value, an area with numerous interpretive trails focused on mining and ancient geology (including other mines and archaeological remains).
