It provides an overview of the Park and the numerous options available to visitors. A superb audio visual installation takes us on a journey through the seasons, offering an insight into natural living landscapes of the Valle de Laciana, whose forests are home to a fascinating flora and fauna, including the brown bear and the Cantabrian capercaillie. The centre also offers a detailed vision of the topography and the geological and paleontological history of the region, as well as its principal natural habitats, from the mountain ranges to the low-lying valleys.

Observations: The aviary can be visited by prior reservation and with a guide every 45 minutes, with a maximum capacity of 20 people. The following times are available: 11:30; 12:15; 13:00; 16:30; 17:15 and 18:00. The centre's opening hours on public holidays: Easter, from the 15th to the 19th: from 11:00 to 14:00 / 16:00 to 19:00; Sunday the 20th: from 11:00 to 14:00. Castilla y León Day, from the 22nd to the 26th: from 11:00 to 14:00 / 16:00 to 19:00. Sunday, May 25th: from 11:00 to 14:00. May 1st: 11:00am to 2:00pm / 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Pilar Day Holiday: May 12th: 11:00am to 2:00pm / 4:00pm to 7:00pm and May 13th: 11:00am to 2:00pm. December 21st, the Capercaillie Centre is temporarily closed until February. Holidays: Constitution Long Weekend: May 5th, 6th and 7th from 11:00am to 2:00pm / 4:00pm to 7:00pm and May 8th: 11:00am to 2:00pm.
