The ship Juan de Homar is located in the town of Frómista, on the jetty located next to the canal locks.

The boat makes a route to Boadilla del Camino, from the jetty of Frómista to the Boadilla jetty, more than 4 km. The vessel, with capacity for 38 passengers and two crew members, is 12.65 meters long and is sailing at a speed of three knots.

The tourist boat takes the name of 'Juan de Homar', in honor of the director of the works of the Canal de Castilla in the last third of the 18th century and until the year 1806. A very successful tribute considering that this boat bears the name of one of the main drivers of the Canal.
