Located in the La Baña Lake Natural Monument. The route begins 2 km from the town of La Baña, along a dirt track that turns off to the left of the Fonte da Cova port road. We descend to the confluence of several rivers that give rise to the Cabrera River. On the way up you can enjoy magnificent views of the pond known as La Laguna. The forest path gives way to slopes of pine trees and heather and leads us to the forest track in which a picturesque candelabra-shaped birch stands out next to a picnic area. The valley stands out for notable examples of glacial morphology, closed by a cirque of mountains over 2000 m high that houses the lake at its feet.
