The trail begins in the town of Aldeamayor de San Martín , in the Plaza del Soltadero next to the sundial.

Leaving the town we will head along wide roads to the road that connects the town with the Aldeamayor Golf Urbanization. At this point we can travel through the pedestrian section of the bike lane that runs parallel to said road or, with caution, along its platform.

We will surround the Aldeamayor Golf Urbanization to reach the "Salgüeros de Aldeamayor" SCI. These wetlands constitute, together with the Lagunas de Villafáfila, the two areas of greatest regional interest for this type of habitat.

We will continue the path outside the urbanization, visiting its parks and recreational paths that are located between the walls of the chalets and water pipes. After crossing several wooden bridges we will arrive, through Avenida de las Médulas, to a children's park where a route information panel is located.

At this point we leave the urban section and enter, along wide track roads surrounded by farmland, into the last section of the trail. After spotting some pine forests, we will travel a short stretch of road that will take us, again, along agricultural roads before reaching the town of Aldeamayor de San Martín and, thus, finishing the route.
