Reservoir of Santa Teresa
Located in the Tormes river, allows the irrigation of about 65.000 hectares, and ensures the supply of drinking water to many towns. In its clear, cool waters the practice of a wide variety of water sports is allowed, including motor navigation, water skiing or sailing.
The reservoir of Santa Teresa, built in the early 60s of the twentieth Century, is a meeting point for migratory birds and an ideal place to observe the cranes in a quiet natural setting surrounded by oaks and scrub lands, as well as areas of crop and grazing.
