Two musical instrument makers have arrived at the library. Agapito Marazuela's grandchildren have learned to build instruments and sing and listen to songs by the maestro from Valverde del Majano. They will tell participants who their grandfather was and how to build musical instruments with things we have around us.

To introduce music to children, this entertaining reading workshop will teach you the basic techniques of musical instrument construction. Participants will build a homemade musical instrument to take home. All of this is accompanied by a very important opportunity: learning about Agapito Marazuela, a Spanish folklorist, musicologist, and prominent dulzainero (bagpipe player), who dedicated his entire life to compiling the Castilian popular musical tradition, threatened with extinction due to rural depopulation.
