The aim is to bring readers closer to one of the most widely disseminated works of humanity, using the historical-critical method as a tool to help understand the meaning of the texts.

The 73 books that make up the Bible contain a wide variety of literary genres, with some texts having a theological or philosophical perspective, while others have historical value.

The aim is to aid in a deeper understanding of the content of this work through the use of auxiliary disciplines such as Philosophy, History, Philology, and Anthropology. An analysis of the Near Eastern culture in which the biblical narratives unfold is considered vitally important, highlighting its profound influence on Western civilization.

To this end, it is suggested to read continuously the text published by the Library of Christian Authors, which includes introductions and footnotes, along with supplementary material, which will help to understand the context of what is being read.
