Biblioescena is the Performing Arts Series in the public libraries of Castilla y León, organized by the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Junta de Castilla y León. Friday, October 2, at 7:00 p.m. "Federico García Lorca Recital", with Teatro Corsario

The Federico García Lorca Recital is an interpretation of the poet's texts: an illuminating anthology of his poems, verse fragments from his plays, and some songs.

The performance is by four actors from the prestigious Teatro Corsario company: Carlos Pinedo, Rosa Manzano, Blanca Izquierdo and Jesús Peña.

Teatro Corsario is one of Spain's most prestigious classical theatre companies. Founded in 1982, its long history is characterized by a highly distinctive approach to verse, innovative puppet shows for adults with an international reach, and contemporary theatre.

Teatro Corsario 's shows have received unanimous critical and public acclaim and have been performed in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Croatia, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the United States, and China.
