Biblioescena is the Performing Arts Series in the public libraries of Castilla y León, organized by the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Junta de Castilla y León. Saturday, August 22, at 12:00 pm. "The Great Revolution of Ramón the Louse", with Saltatium Teatro

The importance of respecting others and the reward of kindness and justice, which unfortunately many lice and many humans never come to understand.
Told in the style of a picaresque tale, with hymns and live music, this story recounts the early adventures of Ramón the louse and how he spends his first days navigating the usual dangers of lice, such as enormous soapy storms, the scorching hurricanes of the hair dryer, and the sudden and terrifying attacks of the enormous prongs of combs and fingernails. Luckily, he has a sister and a few friends, because only by learning to work together will they manage to survive.
But when he's taken prisoner by the King of Dandruff's soldier lice—lice that are still lice, after all—his life is truly in danger. Will Ramón manage to escape and become a free adult louse?

Saltatium Teatro , since its founding in 2008, has created more than twenty storytelling performances with its distinctive, highly theatrical, entertaining, and interactive style. For a decade, they have participated in the Segovia Provincial Council's Reading Promotion Program and have also taken their storytelling to book fairs, town squares, small venues, large theaters, and more, as their performances are perfectly adaptable to any space.
Other family-oriented productions have included "Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress", "The Empires of the Moon" and "Anne Frank and the Stars".
