A clown show with a lot of humor and play with objects that invites us in a fun and entertaining way to reflect on how obsessed we are with making the most of our time or not wasting it, without enjoying the little things.
The visit of a crazy space traveler who comes from a planet called SinTime and who travels with a somewhat special crew (clocks that do not mark the time) lands on Earth by chance and comes into contact with the humans of said planet, beings that seem to her to be an apparently intelligent life form.
Her first encounter is marked by the fact that she encountered a pile of space junk just before landing, debris from planet Earth orbiting the planet. For this intrepid traveler, this is an indication that humans have Time-Sickness. Through space junk and the participation of humans, she invites us to enjoy our time and the little things.
Inspired by the book "The Papalagi" by Erich Scheurmann (1920), "Time" aims to recover a basic principle: "we are masters of our own time," so the best thing we can do with it is enjoy it, right?
MARGARITO is:
Angélica Gago Benito , self-taught in life.
I am the founder, director, and actress of my company, founded in 2006 in Burgos. Originally from Valladolid, I earned a degree in History and began discovering the wonderful world of theater at the University of Valladolid's Theater Classroom. It was there that I also came into contact with stage storytelling, an art form that fascinated me and continues to do so today.
But I soon realized that I needed to explore other arts, that I wanted to be a multidisciplinary artist, and I delved deeper into other techniques, such as The Wonderful World of Clown with Eric de Bont, Jesús Jara, Mercedes Ochoa, Dario Levin, Lila Monti, Pep Vila, Virginia Imaz, Antón Valén, Hernen Gené, Alain Vigneau...
The most difficult aspect of the circus, with aerial acrobatics (fixed trapeze), handstands, juggling, floor acrobatics... and other techniques such as music, illusionism, tap dancing, dance, social theater, lambé, lambé... Years later, he trained in the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq and in physical theater with Pablo Ibarluzea.
Based in Burgos for years, my training has taken place in various schools and venues in Spain and Argentina. That's why in my performances you can enjoy this blend of arts presented with affection, humor, and a love for this beautiful craft.
