The wars of our ancestors is the theatrical version of the novel of the same title by Miguel Delibes , a version that was made jointly by Delibes himself and Ramón García Domíguez .
The story tells of Pacífico Pérez , suffering from tuberculosis, who is imprisoned in 1961 for murder and is about to be tried and presumably sentenced to death by garrote for another crime. Dr. Burgueño , hoping to help him, convinces him to talk about his life, sensing that some undiscovered mystery lies behind Pacífico and his actions. He suggests recording the story in front of a tape recorder, hoping it might serve as evidence in his defense. Pacífico Pérez has lived surrounded by an atmosphere of aggression and violence because his ancestors were marked by the various wars in which they fought.
The Plastic Chimera . Since 1983, more than 3,000 performances of 40 stage productions by mostly contemporary Spanish authors have built the long history of this Company, and have allowed it to present its shows not only in all the Autonomous Communities, but also in Europe (France, Portugal, Luxembourg, Croatia); Africa (Morocco, Equatorial Guinea); and practically in all the countries of Latin America, from Miami to Patagonia.
