Corsair Scenes , the actors perform a dramatized reading of scenes from spectacles throughout history, accompanied by music. An instructive and enchanting recital, in the vein of "Corsair’s Word" and "Women of the Golden Age," featuring Jesús Peña, Carlos Pinedo, Blanca Izquierdo, and Rosa Manzano, and excerpts from works by Calderón de la Barca ("The Great Theater of the World," "To Love After Death," "The Greatest Charm, Love," "Life Is a Dream," and "The Physician of His Honor"); Lope de Vega ("Assault on the City of Maastricht" and "The Knight of Olmedo"); Agustín Moreto ("The Living Portrait"); and José Zorrilla ("Traitor, Unconfessed, and Martyr").
