"The Bird Woman"
Amelia Earhart dreamed of flying around the world. Although the journey was difficult, with family problems and mistrust due to her gender, she fought for her dream.
Amelia became a symbol of life, traveling the world in her yellow plane and immersing herself in every culture and history. This earned her the nickname "Bird Woman."
Popy Vegas , actress, director, and playwright, presents this story. Through her company, Popy Vegas Teatro, she seeks to promote equality and reflection among the public.
The activity is part of the BiblioEscena 2025 program: performing arts in the library, promoted by the General Directorate of Cultural Policies of the Junta de Castilla y León , in which theater companies affiliated with ARTESA (Association of Performing Arts Companies of Castilla y León) participate. Activity for children (ages 3 and up).Saturday, June 28 at 12:00 p.m.
