Amelia is a young and intrepid woman who strives to achieve her dream: to become a pilot and fly around the world. But achieving this will not be easy; she will have to overcome the obstacles she encounters along the way, including family problems, obligations, and even doubts about her ability to reach her goal simply because she is a woman.

Amelia will fight against all of that and more to soar through the skies and become a role model for future children. Amelia will travel the world in her yellow plane, experiencing so many cultures and stories that she will grow so enriched that she will become the Bird Woman.

Everyone has oceans to fly to, if they have the heart to do it. Is it reckless? Perhaps. But what do dreams know of limits?
