The stone hospital
Gregorio G. Olmos
Planet of Books, 2026

The Stone Hospital is a historical novel populated by flesh-and-blood characters, men and women who feel and breathe in a violent environment.

Gregorio G. Olmos studied Law in Valladolid and has lived in Zamora for many years. Rigorously researched, his literature stems from an interest in bringing the social history of the Middle Ages, particularly that of Castile, closer to the reader through vocabulary, ancestral customs, and everyday details of our past, in impeccable recreations that combine storytelling and memory. He is the author of the novels *Yucé, el sefardí* (2015, XXXIV Felipe Trigo Prize), published with a prologue by José Jiménez Lozano, and *El Hospital de la Piedra. Historia de un converso toledano* (2026, finalist for the XLV Felipe Trigo Prize).
