To mark World Responsible Consumption Day, the library has organized an interesting conference by Blanca de la Nogal, a licensed pharmacist, specialist in hospital pharmacy and with a postgraduate degree in pharmaceutical pollution, communicator and disseminator, who works at the Hospital del Bierzo, after having worked at the General Yagüe Hospital in Burgos.

In 2025, she was a finalist for the "Pharmacists and SDGs" awards of the General Council of Pharmaceutical Associations of Spain. In this conference, she will delve into the readings that have helped shape her professional development and her vision of a more sustainable healthcare system and world. She will discuss the responsible use of medications from a sustainability perspective and how to prevent pharmaceutical pollution, mention other non-pharmacological measures, and finally, reveal the benefits of handwriting, in her own hand, for organizing her thoughts through her experiences.
