Moradillo de Roa revives ancestral beliefs about the eclipse in a unique wine tourism experience. El Cotarro transforms the solar eclipse of August 12 into a wine tourism experience inspired by the legends, rituals and traditions of the rural world.

The setting will be the "El Cotarro" ethnological complex, one of the most unique heritage wine tourism sites in Castilla y León. There, among centuries-old wineries and traditional wine presses, attendees will discover how our ancestors interpreted eclipses and how those popular beliefs coexisted with wine culture.

  • Four wines, four elements, one eclipse

Nothing in this experience has been chosen at random. The tasting has been conceived as a sensory journey through the eclipse, guided by winemaker Alfredo Maestro and structured around four wines, a number laden with symbolism since Antiquity.

When the light returns, the experience will continue. A spectacle where the impossible happens before your eyes, where nothing is exactly what it seems...
