On April 28th we will have the session on criminology taught by Victoriano Panizo Galende, National Police Inspector.

The expansion of the internet and digital technologies has profoundly transformed how we connect, work, and consume, but it has also opened the door to new forms of crime. Online fraud has become one of the fastest-growing types of crime, affecting individuals, businesses, and institutions alike.

This talk analyzes the main types of digital fraud, phishing, smishing, vishing, scams on buying and selling platforms, identity theft or financial fraud, from a criminological and police perspective.
