On Wednesday, January 14th, at 5:30 p.m. we will make our own bookplates with "En Volandas".

To create our bookplate, we will use the relief carving technique with a gouge on blue carving plates. This type of flexible vinyl plate, besides facilitating the carving of the stamp, has sufficient density to obtain energetic strokes and very defined profiles. For inking, we will use pads of Japanese water-based inks in multiple colors. You will carry out the entire process involved in producing a printing plate: image design, image transfer to the plate, stamping, etc.

An opportunity to design and produce your own bookplate, using a traditional technique such as relief engraving with a gouge, and which will become a seal that will identify the ownership of your books for your entire life.

Ages 8 and up.
