CreaVA , an emerging art festival promoted by Valladolid City Council, will present the work of Valladolid artists in its 12th edition in unconventional spaces such as cafes, shops, cinemas, educational centers, and, of course, our library. This strategy seeks to bring talent and creativity to every corner of the city, making art more accessible to all citizens. The event will be held from April 25 to May 30, 2025.

For the duration of CreaVA, the Library of Castilla y León will have:

• An exhibition by illustrator Laufer will focus on her latest book , "Ven de lejos " (which will be published around April 23), which deals with birdwatching and migration.

Laufer (Laura Fernández Arquisola) is from Valladolid and has been drawing more than talking since she was little, so when she grew up, she decided to study Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca. Now, after a few years, she's dedicated to what she loves most: illustrating full-color interactive stories, textbooks, children's stories, and magazines.

• Guided tour of the exhibition on May 9 and 23 at 7:00 p.m.
