In early childhood, everything is song, play, and emotion. "What a World!" is a storytelling performance designed for young children and the adults who accompany them. Through short stories, rhythmic words, repetition, and gestures, a space of calm and discovery is created where the voice becomes a refuge and a source of play. A delicate and intimate encounter that respects the pace of childhood and celebrates the joy of listening from the very beginning of life.

I'm Aurora Maroto . I was born, raised, and still live in Madrid. I've been reading since childhood, but it was in my teens that I first heard stories told aloud. It was in a literature class: two storytellers walked in, and an hour later I was captivated. Right then and there, I asked what it took to tell stories. And I've been doing that ever since: researching, sharing, telling stories, opening one door to this craft and discovering a room full of many more.

I tell stories, tales, adventures, and legends for all kinds of audiences. I perform at festivals, cultural centers, libraries, high schools, colleges, associations, bars, or on the street. Everywhere, but not just anywhere, because a story that becomes a spoken word requires care and respect to take flight.
