Two poets. Two writers. Two cultural journalists. Two faithful followers of the word, to the very end. Angélica Tanarro and Carlos Aganzo discuss their experiences in the world of journalism and culture, but also their own poetic work, that other way of looking at the world that poetry always has, and their relationship with readers. Two very different voices, but one common literary devotion.
Angélica Tanarro holds a PhD in journalism and is a journalist and writer specializing in cultural coverage. She has served as the Culture Editor of El Norte de Castilla and as the coordinator of its literary supplement , La Sombra del Ciprés . She is the author of the poetry collections Serán distancia (They Will Be Distance, 1994), Memoria del límite (Memory of the Limit , 2022), and Lo que (No) sé de las palabras (What I (Don't) Know About Words , 2024).
Carlos Aganzo is the author of twenty collections of poetry and as many travel books. He has served as editor of Diario de Avila and El Norte de Castilla and is currently the director of the Vocento Foundation.
