Elías Martínez , a native of Villanubla (Valladolid), began his involvement with traditional dance and music in this town in the 1980s. He started performing under the guidance of Lorenzo Sancho, achieving prominent positions in dulzaina (a type of oboe) competitions from the very beginning. In 1986, he won first prize in the Ciudad de Benavente Traditional Performance Competition and received the national prize at the Young Performers of Traditional Music Competition held in Pamplona in 1991.

With La Charambita, he has participated in academic events at the University of Valladolid, providing musical accompaniment for the processions of the University Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Light , during Holy Week in Valladolid.

Mónica Supiot , originally from Valladolid, began piano studies in 1994 and has taught electronic keyboard classes at the Yamaha school in Valladolid for seven years.

In 2002, he joined La Charambita as a keyboardist and percussionist. He currently participates in various musical activities, including being a member of the Coral Harmonía choir in Valladolid since 2005, as well as the Renaissance Historical Dance group ' il Buon Tempo' .

Together with Elías Martínez, he participates as an organ player in the procession of Cristo de la Luz or at Christmas in the Valladolid Cathedral.
