Let's make children's rights soar!

A participatory and creative activity aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old, whose objective is to remind everyone that playing is a fundamental right and also to denounce the ban on flying kites in Gaza, where a simple children's game has been classified as a military danger.

Through the construction and flying of kites, we invite the youngest children to reflect on solidarity, peace and children's rights in a close and participatory way.

What will we do in the workshop?

  • Create and personalize a kite with creative materials and messages for peace.
  • Learn about Children's Rights.
  • To send a message of solidarity, by making a symbolic kite flight to highlight the reality of girls and boys in Gaza and to demand that no conflict should take away the right to childhood.

To participate in the workshop, you must have a library card and register in advance starting Monday, November 16th . The number of places is limited to 20, and children may be accompanied by an adult.
