The elderly Guardian of La Lana wants to retire and needs her granddaughter Popi to take over so she can rest. But her granddaughter not only doesn't want to continue the legacy, she wants to become a TikToker. Grandma Lana plays a little joke on her while they perform Lana's Tales to make her change her mind and appreciate such a beautiful tradition. Will she be able to convince Popi to be the new Guardian?
An intergenerational show that explores the differences in the way a grandmother and her granddaughter understand life. New times, new technologies versus tradition and craftsmanship. Wool, from the care of sheep using the now almost extinct extensive livestock farming, the traditional way of shearing sheep, the careful spinning process, and even the woven garment, versus a consumer society with polluting and low-quality synthetic textiles. All told through a fun comedy featuring actresses and puppets that will transport you to another time and another magical place.
