Presentation of the book : "Love me, even if it's a lie" by Rosi Rodríguez Loranca and Juan Ramón García Alquézar

It's a novel with several stories built around the sad reality of stolen babies and illegal adoptions. It takes place in different settings: Guipúzcoa, Madrid, Barcelona, and Chiclana de la Frontera, from 1936 to 2022, grounding the plot in Spanish reality.

Rosi Rodríguez Loranca (Atienza, Guadalajara) has been the editorial secretary of the newspaper EL PAÍS for over 41 years, since its first issue. She has worked with the finest writers and most renowned figures in Spanish-language literature and journalism, from Juan Goytisolo to Manuel Vicent, Rafael Fraguas to Maruja Torre. She is co-author with psychiatrist Francisco Alonso-Fernández of the popular science book Depression: All the Answers to Understanding and Overcoming It . She has collaborated with and edited several works by other authors and published articles in prestigious journals.

Juan Ramón García (Barcelona) holds a degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the Central University of Barcelona and is a retired businessman. This is his second novel with Rosi Rodríguez. In 2021, they published the novel Deconstruyendo a Eudald Rose.
